Web application.
The web browser application is HTML5 and CSS based, powered by the Plum iTV HTML5 Video Player — an extensible, plugin-oriented player that supports HLS and DASH adaptive bitrate streaming protocols out of the box.
All HTML, CSS, and assets are static and served from the website's own server, while a dedicated API layer handles every dynamic action and subscriber-specific request. The web app is optimised to work seamlessly with all major browsers.

Section 02
Native apps across every screen.
Mobile is delivered as a native Android application (.apk) using the Plum iTV native Android Video Player — the same player as on Android STB / Smart TV — and as a native iOS application powered by the Plum iTV native iOS Player, an alternative to iOS AV Player. Both support HLS and DASH adaptive playback. Minimum versions: Android 5 and iOS 8.
For the living room, the same Plum experience runs on Android STBs and Android Smart TVs through a native Android application, plus dedicated builds for Samsung and LG Smart TVs. A built-in ChromeCast extension lets subscribers cast streams from their mobile device to any TV with a ChromeCast dongle connected via HDMI.
